EVANSVILLE — After nearly two decades in the position, Missy Mosby attended her final meeting as Evansville's Second Ward city councilor.

Mosby, a Democrat, closed out her 18 years of elected service Monday evening. She'll start a new position Oct. 27 as director of Evansville Animal Care and Control.

Her position will be filled by a Democratic caucus, but no date for that has been set at this time.
