‘Different tone:’ Bruins GM says players were more invested in Marco Sturm’s camp

BOSTON — Don Sweeney is bullish on what the Bruins accomplished in Marco Sturm’s first training camp at the helm.

The general manager wasn’t satisfied with how last year’s camp went under Jim Montgomery, who Sweeney ultimately fired after an 8–9–3 start to the season. However, he believes things improved this fall.
