Alabama didn’t give up another point to Vanderbilt after halftime.

Not one.

The Crimson Tide went into the locker room Saturday during the break and figured out a plan to stop Diego Pavia and the Vanderbilt offense once and for all. As a result, Alabama shut out the Commodores in the second half and went on to win 30-14 . The game had been tied 14-14 at halftime.

This was not a one-off performance. Alabama has been elite in second halves this season post Florida State. Especially against SEC opponents.

The Crimson Tide defense gave up a touchdown late to Wisconsin with the game already in hand. Then against Georgia, Alabama allowed seven points after halftime. Then against Vanderbilt, nothing.
