Proposals to transform a city centre office space into a pilates studio have been submitted to the council’s planning department.

Pointe Ahead Pilates has been operating since 2013 in Edinburgh with 15 teachers and is now looking to expand its fitness community into Glasgow by creating a welcoming space for clients.

If approved they will also offer various training courses for those interested in becoming a pilates teacher at the new studio at 24 St Vincent Place.

In a supporting statement issued to Glasgow City Council , the applicant states that they expect to have around five teachers.
