Quetta : Several passengers were injured on Tuesday after a powerful explosion struck the Quetta-bound Jaffar Express near Sultankot, close to the Sindh-Balochistan border.

The blast, believed to have been caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted on the tracks, led to the derailment of six coaches.
Rescue and security teams rushed to the site and began relief operations. Visuals shared on social media showed passengers being assisted from the damaged coaches. Authorities have yet to confirm any fatalities.
