CHICAGO — Felony charges have been filed against two teenagers, accused of robbing a man at gunpoint in the West Loop in late August.

According to the Chicago police, a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy have each been charged with one felony count of armed robbery with a firearm.

Because of their age, authorities have not identified either of the teens arrested.

Officers said the charges stem from an incident that allegedly unfolded around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, in the 900 block of West Lake Street in the West Loop.

While specific details surrounding the incident remain unclear, officers said it is believed that two teens allegedly participated in the armed robbery of a 28-year-old man.
