The West Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a large protest in Kolkata on Tuesday, a day after its MP Khagen Murmu and Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh were injured during an attack in Jalpaiguri district.

Meanwhile, the BJP leaders in Delhi also staged a march towards Banga Bhawan in protest against the TMC government in West Bengal. Hundreds of party workers took out a march towards Banga Bhawan, shouting slogans against the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government. They accused the ruling party of failing to maintain law and order in the state.
