NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio

Drunken driving, Ridge Road: On Sept. 7, police observed a dark-colored sedan stopped at the intersection of Ridge Road and Royalton Road.

The driver stopped the vehicle past the stop bar and was not using a turn signal.

While talking to the driver, the officer smelled alcohol while observing two red solo cups with spilled liquid covering the passenger indoor and seat.

When told about the spillage, the man attempted to clean it up.

It turned out the driver had a recent OVI license suspension.

When asked about the odor and how many drinks he had, the man said, “Just…none.”

He added, “I am not doing any tests, sir. I got (expletive) to do.”

After failing a field sobriety test, that stuff he had to do included going to jail for drunken driving.
