Country Music's First Anti-ICE Anthem Comes from an Unlikely Source

I am a fan of Zach Bryan’s music , but not so much the man. We’ve written about his turbulent love life on many occasions, and even his messy social media posts .

But he is undeniably a good songwriter (even if he’s <>too prolific), and with his latest effort, Bryan has gone to an unlikely place for the musician: Politics. In fact, aside from once calling out transphobia , the Oklahoma musician (and military veteran) tends to shy away from the topic.

Not so with the latest song, “ The Fading of the Red, White, and Blue ,” which takes aim at the Administration’s mass deportation program.
