Lionel Richie almost marched with Martin Luther King Jr. — but his parents stopped him.
While discussing his newly released memoir Truly with The Guardian in an article published Saturday, Oct. 4, the "Hello" singer recalled growing up in Tuskegee, Ala. during the civil rights movement in the '50s and '60s.
