Sean "Diddy" Combs wants to serve his prison term for sex crimes at a South Jersey prison, according to a letter from one of the music mogul's attorneys.

The letter asks a federal judge to "strongly recommend" that Combs be placed at FCI Fort Dix by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.

That would allow Combs, who's also requested a pardon from U.S. President Donald Trump, "to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts," attorney Teny Geragos said in the letter dated Oct. 6.

Geragos noted access to the Residential Drug Abuse Program, aka RDAP, "and any other available educational and occupational programs."

The Bureau of Prison's website describes RDAP, typically nine months in duration, as its "most intensive treatment program."
