Union Minister Ramdas Athawale expressed confidence on Tuesday that the National Democratic Alliance will win the upcoming Assembly election in Bihar. He claimed that the State has seen “a lot of development” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Under the leadership of PM Modi, Bihar has developed a lot…During the rule of RJD, there was no development, the conditions of roads were not good, people from backward communities used to get no justice…The NDA government will be formed in Bihar under the leadership of PM Modi,” Athawale told ANI.

The Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Bihar Assembly elections. The 243 Assembly seats will go to the polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with counting of votes to be held on November 14.
