Tracking the tropics: AM Oct. 7, 2025

FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Brooks Garner gives us a look at the latest updates in the tropics as we continue to follow Invest 95L, which is now likely to become our next tropical depression or Tropical Storm Jerry within the next day or so. Garner also has his eyes on a system in the Southwestern Gulf which has a low chance of development.

What we know:

As of 11 a.m. Tuesday, Tropical Storm Jerry is located about 1,315 miles east-southeast of the Northern Leeward Islands in the Central Tropical Atlantic.
