The victim of an execution-style daylight slaying in a Laval, Que. Starbucks last week was a close friend of a Mississauga gangster who was attacked in prison on the same day.

Charalambos (Bobby the Greek) Theologou, 40, was shot to death on Oct. 1 while in a Starbucks with two associates.

Also last Wednesday, Marckens Vilme, 34, a known associate, was stabbed repeatedly in Atlantic Institution, a maximum security penitentiary in Renous, N.B., Montreal newspaper La Presse reported .

Correctional Service Canada had no comment on the attack.

Vilme’s condition is not known.

Vilme, nicknamed “Big M,” has been serving a life sentence since 2022 for the murder of Michael Deabaitua-Schulde.
