FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The United States Coast Guard Cutter Seneca's crew offloaded more than 12,750 pounds of cocaine and marijuana in Port Everglades, Florida, Sept. 30, 2025.

According to the USCG, these drugs have an approximate street value of $94.5 million.

The USCG Cutter Seneca supported counter-drug operations as part of Operation Pacific Viper. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security defines Operation Pacific Viper as surging forces to cut off drugs and human smuggling primarily in the Eastern Pacific.

The USCG, works with interagency and international partners to target narcotic shipments from Central and South America.

Coast Guard Cutter Seneca is a 270-foot cutter with a crew of 100 that is homeported in Portsmouth, Virgina.
