The Marion County Highway Department has canceled paving in Sequatchie on Tuesday due to the weather.

Crews began paving on Shady Grove Road, according to a Facebook post by the county, shortly before 7:30am.

In another post at around 11:30am, the county said paving is canceled for the rest of the day.

"Paving will resume tomorrow morning weather permitting," the post says .

Drivers are asked to be cautious when workers are in the area and make extra time for delays.
