As part of an ongoing special campaign to curb drug trafficking and its network, the Commissionerate Police Jalandhar achieved significant success by arresting two notorious drug peddlers with a total of 150 grams of ganja and catching 15 individuals red-handed while consuming drugs during two separate operations.

Giving details, Commissioner of Police, Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur, IPS, said that continuous operations are being carried out by Jalandhar Police to clamp down on drug traffickers and suppliers. Under this campaign, a special police team was formed under the supervision of ADCP–1 Smt. Akarshi Jain, ACP Central Sh. Amandeep Singh, and other police officers, which arrested two drug peddlers.
