MUSKEGON, Mich. — Muskegon County announced they have its second-recorded measles case since June. This case is Michigan's 28th this year.

Health officials are warning anyone who may have been at Trinity Health Urgent Care at 1670 East Sherman Boulevard in Muskegon from 3:45 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, that they may have been exposed.

Anyone who was at the urgent care during that period should monitor for symptoms through October 23, officials say.

Measles is highly contagious and can linger in the air for up to two hours after an infected person leaves.

Symptoms include rash, fever, cough, runny nose and red, watery eyes. These symptoms usually appear seven to 14 days after exposure, officials say.
