TAWAS CITY – Stemming from her alleged involvement in the homicide of 42-year-old William Ardith Jackson, the latest hearing for Doreen Kay Schunk was also her first appearance in Iosco County 23rd Circuit Court.
The Tawas Township resident, who is being represented by Attorney Thomas Schaiberger, arrived for her pre-trial and arraignment on Sept. 29, before Judge David C. Riffel.
Similarly – as reported in the Sept. 17 edition of this publication – co-defendant Clifford Marion Farthing, 57, had also been in the same court room two weeks prior, for both a pre-trial and arraignment.
Schunk’s most recent hearing began with Riffel advising her of the two charges she is currently facing, the first being one count of conspiracy to commit homicide–open murder.
