An Atlantic City man who admitted stabbing a man during at a brawl at a nightclub in Harrah's Resort Atlantic City nearly three years ago was sentenced to 7½ years in prison Monday, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.

Dante Braxton, 27, pleaded guilty in August to aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Braxton must serve 85% of his sentence before becoming eligible for parole. Upon release, he'll be subject to three years of parole supervision.

Officers responded to the nightclub Nov. 24, 2022, and found the victim suffering from stab wounds to his elbow and abdomen, the Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday in a news release.

Surveillance footage and cellphone videos taken by patrons showed Braxton stabbing the victim on a lounge inside the club. B
