A Pleasantville man pleaded guilty Friday to assaulting a woman on at least two separate occasions, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
Seth Carr, 25, faces a possible sentence of five years in prison on two counts of aggravated assault. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 30.
On April 17, Pleasantville police responded to a home on Ridgewood Avenue for a domestic assault. The victim told police Carr strangled her until she began to lose consciousness, the Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday in a news release.
Carr also punched the victim repeatedly, causing him to break his own hand, the Prosecutor's Office said.
On May 16, Pleasantville officers returned to the home for another domestic assault. Police saw bruises on the victim’s head and face, the Prosecutor's Office said.
