After A month and half, offline secondary classes with an overall attendance of 75 per cent resumed on Tuesday at a private school in the Maninagar area of Ahmedabad.

On the first day of offline education since August 20 for Classes IX and XI, an attendance of 50 per cent was reported while 95 per cent students of Class 10 and 12 turned up at the school.

Around 170 students out of 400 attended Class XI (Science) while 396 of 747 students were present in Class IX. The overall attendance stood at 75 per cent. Teaching was suspended at the school on August 20, a day after a Class X student allegedly stabbed his classmate to death outside the school.
