(CNN) - Costco is now offering a less expensive way to help customers drop some pounds.
The retailer is selling weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy at lower prices.
Novo Nordisk said its medications can be purchased at Costco pharmacies for $499.
That’s less than half the total price when the products are bought elsewhere, and some Costco members can get additional discounts.
Wegovy and Ozempic are appetite suppressants that cause people to eat less and, in most cases, lose weight as a result.
Wegovy is often prescribed for patients with heart disease and obesity, while Ozempic is for those with Type 2 diabetes.
