With early in-person voting already underway and less than a month until Election Day, both candidates in ththe New Jersey gubernatorial election have filed disclosures about how much money they’ve spent and how much they have left.
The required 29-day pre-election paperwork was filed with the state’s Election Law Enforcement Commission by both nominees, Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill and Republican former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, on Monday.
Both candidates will spend the next four weeks doing what they can to reach voters with packed schedules that send them crisscrossing the state to explain their platforms. They’ll also square off on the debate stage again this week.
