On the eve of the second anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023, terror strike on Israel, U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer gathered with North Jersey officials Monday to promote legislation aimed at educating young people about the attack that killed 1,200 people and left scores more injured and traumatized.

The October 7th Remembrance Education Act would instruct the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum to build a model curriculum for schools to use in teaching about the assault, the history of antisemitism and the role it played in the massacre, as well as "denial and distortion as a form of antisemitism in the wake of the attacks," the congressman said.
