Niagara students have back-to-back four-day school weeks due to upcoming PA day and Thanksgiving

Students in Niagara will enjoy a four-day Thanksgiving weekend, which is sandwiched by back-to-back four-day school weeks.

The extra day off comes courtesy of a Friday PA day for District School Board of Niagara and Niagara Catholic District School Board , which applies to elementary and secondary students.

Then on Monday, all schools across the province are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Key dates for the 2025-26 school calendar
