Jaipur, Oct 7: In a significant crackdown, Alwar district police have arrested five individuals accused of orchestrating a forced religious conversion operation targeting poor Hindu men and women, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudhir Chaudhary stated that the arrests were made following allegations of illegal conversions to Christianity through coercion, inducement, and misinformation. Preliminary investigations have linked the accused to networks operating in Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) and Jaipur.
