A favored brunch destination in Austin is premiering its first out-of-state location in Denver early next year.

Paperboy will move into the West Highland neighborhood at 3490 W. 32nd Ave., the former space of Rooted Craft Kitchen and Troy Guard’s FNG . The Texan concept’s executive chef, Pat Jackson, transferred to Denver to bring about the new restaurant.

“Colorado has always felt like a second home — I’ve spent years snowboarding in Breckenridge and enjoying the outdoor recreation,” Jackson said in a statement. “I’m incredibly excited to put down roots in Denver, not just as a chef, but as an active member of this inspiring food and beverage community.”
