Detroit police on Tuesday asked the public for help to identify a woman accused of assaulting two others last month downtown.
Detroit Police Cmdr. Matthew Fulgenzi of the Third Precinct said the suspect is about 40 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with blond hair and a medium build.
"We want to hold this person accountable for her actions," he said.
The commander discussed the incidents during a news conference on Tuesday at Detroit Public Safety Headquarters.
He said if the suspect hears the police department's request for tips, she should turn herself in. "We will identify you and we will arrest you and hold you accountable," Fulgenzi said.
Officials said the first assault happened between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sept. 28 in the 20 block of John R. near Woodward Avenue.
