The chief meteorologist for Louisiana’s WDSU-6 TV station has been arrested and charged following a physical altercation with his girlfriend over the weekend. According to WDSU-6 , Devon Lucie has been placed on leave pending an investigation into the alleged assault.

Lucie, 48, was booked on charges of domestic abuse with child endangerment and refusing to give deputies his name and birthday. NOLA.com reports the incident took place after Lucie and his girlfriend attended a music festival together Saturday night.

The woman told police that at some point the couple began to argue. After leaving the festival separately, Lucie and the woman began arguing again back at his home. The woman claims that Lucie left the home, but returned and allegedly began punching her while her two childr
