Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is making another change to his helmet following the bye week. Rodgers used the Schutt Air XP Q11 helmet for his entire career, but it failed to pass NFL regulations this offseason.

The Steelers quarterback tried out the new Schutt Air XP Pro VTD II, which is in the yellow for the testing results by the league, which means it is not recommended but players can wear it.

However, Rodgers referred to that Schutt model as a ‘damn spaceship’ and said in September that he ‘hates it.’

“I Hate it. Hate it, hate it,” Rodgers said. “I mean I wore this one last year, had no concussions, some arbitrary ruling made it obsolete. Silly. I should have pushed it more, petitioned to wear it again one more time. Aesthetics. It looks terrible.”
