COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five games into Ohio State’s 2025 season, a former Buckeye Heisman Trophy winner believes that starting quarterback Julian Sayin deserves more hype.
2006 Heisman winner Troy Smith posted on his account on X that Sayin needs more recognition than he’s receiving at this point in the season.
“Gotta talk about straight facts. If the kid at Texas would’ve had the start that @juliansayin2 is having here for our @OhioStateFB , he’d be 1st in @Heisman votes, @daveyobrien talks, and any other major Awards at the end of the season, put some respect on what he’s doin.." Smith posted .
