CLEVELAND, Ohio — Rain gear will be needed across Northeast Ohio Tuesday as a cold front pushes through, ending the region’s dry stretch with widespread showers and some heavy downpours.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland expects two rounds of rain — one through the morning and another as the cold front itself arrives late in the afternoon into evening.
Rainfall totals will generally range from 1 to 1.25 inches, with isolated higher amounts possible where heavier bands develop. A few rumbles of thunder may accompany the rain, though severe weather isn’t expected.
