The deadline for online and mail-in registration in Chaves County is today, Oct. 7, for the upcoming Regular Local Election on Nov. 4. The State of New Mexico offers same-day voter registration for in-person voters. Hence, they can register and vote at the same time at any early voting location.

• For the 2025 Regular Local Election, early voting locations in Chaves County will be open through Saturday, Nov. 1.

• Same-day registration is also available at any polling place in Chaves County on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.

• Those registering to vote are required to provide a form of identification that includes a physical address to complete their registration.
