Malcolm-Jamal Warner , the renowned actor best known for his role as Theo on "The Cosby Show," will make his final television appearance on Tuesday, Oct. 7.

He will guest-star on Fox's mystery drama Season 2 of " Murder in a Small Town " in the third episode titled "Mother Love."

In the episode, Warner portrays a "protective" father named Richard Buscombe. The actor's character becomes a top suspect in the murder probe of his ex-wife, who was killed after coming back to the town.

"Still heartbroken years after the split, Richard wears his anger and pain on his sleeves, but his only goal in life is to keep his daughter safe," the episode description states.
