The deaths of two people in rural New Hampshire are under investigation as suspicious, state police and prosecutors said Tuesday.
Members of the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit were on Tyler Way in Bath working to determine what led to the deaths, according to police and the attorney general's office.

The people who died were identified only as being female, but authorities said there was no known threat to the public. They didn't say if anyone was suspected in the deaths.
No other information was immediately available.
Bath is a Grafton County town of about 1,000 people between the Connecticut River and White Mountains.
