Auburn football’s offensive line struggles were far from hard to point out during the Tigers’ first five games.
From the 21 sacks allowed this season to starting left Xavier Chaplin ears being tested after the group’s 12 false starts and six holding penalties in three road games.
Auburn coach Hugh Freeze said that they will change some things around in that position group this week ahead of Georgia.
“[Izavion Miller] will probably get some more rotation, for sure. But, protection-wise, you can’t get in third-and-long constantly. I know you watch other games, and it’s just not going to work out. The first thing we’ve got to do is not create penalties that put us in those positions that allow us to get the ball out quicker,” Freeze said Monday afternoon.
