CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — West Virginia has received responses from more than 200 stakeholders related to its application for the Rural Health Transformation Program , according to a representative of the governor’s office.

The comments and suggestions total more than 2,000 pages, said Curtis Capehart, director of policy for Gov. Patrick Morrisey, during a meeting of the West Virginia Legislative Oversight Commission on Health and Human Resources on Tuesday.

“We have gathered input from citizens and organizations through that process totaling nearly 221 responses,” he said. “This is upwards of 2,000 pages right now.”

The suggestions were submitted through a portal on the governor’s website, which he announced on Sept. 18. The portal was open through Sept. 29.
