OAKLAND — A local resident was sentenced to a two-year probation term for being the getaway driver when a teen boy allegedly shot and killed a woman as she confronted another teen who had arranged to sell marijuana vape pens to the victim’s daughter, court records show.
Isaiah Gomez, 20, pleaded no contest to accessory after the fact. In late March, he was formally sentenced to probation and to 14 days he already spent in jail, court records show.
Gomez was charged last year after then-16-year-old Ivan Gonzalez, of Oakland, was charged in juvenile court with murdering 33-year-old Maria Ramos.
