The injury-hit Cincinnati Bengals signed veteran quarterback Joe Flacco from the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday following the injury to starter Joe Burrow.
The Bengals said in a statement they had acquired the 40-year-old and a 2026 sixth round draft pick in exchange for Cincinnati's fifth-round pick in next year's draft.
"Joe is an experienced quarterback with a history of winning," Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said in a statement.
"He is a leader with a skill set that will fit our personnel well. He is a gifted passer with a strong arm, and we are excited to have him on our team."
Flacco's arrival in Cincinnati comes after Burrow suffered a toe injury in a week two game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 14.
