SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A former teacher at Boiling Springs High School is facing 16 additional charges following his arrest in September.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said it was investigating an alleged teacher-student relationship in September and that Micah Lanford was charged with eight counts of sexual battery of a student.
Lanford reportedly resigned from Boiling Springs High School on Sept. 11 and was taken to the Spartanburg County Detention Center, where he was denied bond, according to officials.
