MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A 20-year-old Madison man was forced to remove his shirt and shoes during an armed robbery on the city’s east side Sunday evening, the Madison Police Department announced Tuesday.
The victim was walking near Mendota Street at Ridgeway Avenue carrying his groceries when he was approached by a black SUV, police said.
A suspect allegedly jumped out of the vehicle, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the victim empty his pockets. The suspect also ordered the victim to remove his shirt and shoes. The victim did as he was told, MPD said.
The suspect got back into the car, where two other suspects were waiting, and the car drove north on Mendota Street toward Lien Road.
