ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis Sheriff Alfred Montgomery is asking a judge to throw out the Missouri Attorney General’s case seeking his removal from office , arguing the state’s claims are unsupported by facts and amount to a political attempt to overturn an election. The effort was launched by Andrew Bailey, but has been taken over by Catherine Hanaway, who was sworn into the role this past September after Bailey accepted a new role with the FBI.
