Calhoun County Senior Services has approved $27,000 in Mini Grant awards to support programs that benefit older adults across the county, according to a community announcement .
Eleven applications requesting a total of $55,000 were submitted this quarter. After review by Senior Services staff and the Senior Millage Allocation Committee, 10 programs were selected for funding. The grants range from $2,500 to $4,000 and support initiatives that promote social engagement, healthy living and access to fresh food.
