The banged-up Los Angeles Chargers have acquired Baltimore Ravens standout edge rusher and former first-round pick Odafe Oweh to bolster their defense.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Chargers have landed Odafe Oweh in exchange for safety Alohi Gilman and a 2026 fifth-round draft pick. Oweh is in the final season of his five-year rookie deal.
Baltimore appears poised to sell ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline, with Sunday’s ugly blowout loss to the Houston Texans dropping them to 1-4. Oweh is coming off a career year where he logged 10 sacks and one forced fumble.
The Chargers need help on both sides of the ball as injuries continue to pile up. They’re already without All-Pro offensive tackle Rashawn Slater and running back Najee Harris for the season, for starters
