DSW opens in Prasada shopping area

Designer Shoe Warehouse, better known as DSW, received a welcome to Surprise on Oct. 3 with its ribbon-cutting opening at 14045 N. Prasada Parkway.

The ceremony featured Surprise Store Manager Julie Chappell, Market Leader Alison Westrich and Project Manager Ashley Lorka helped cut the ribbon with City Councilmember Johnny V. Melton and Economic Development Director Jeanine Jerkovic.

This event served as the pre-launch for the official opening, which happened the next day.

At that event, shoppers enjoyed a DJ, face painting, giveaways and freebies.
