GRAND BLANC, Mich. (WILX) -A gathering is set to take place to help the Grand Blanc community to heal following the deadly shooting and fire at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Gates are opening at 6 p.m. at the Grand Blanc High School Football Field for the Grand Blanc Community Reflection.

Driving into Grand Blanc on Tuesday, you could see the words “Better Together” plastered on an overpass, on the signs lining sidewalks, and hanging outside of businesses.

The reflection is open to everyone impacted.

Organizers said it is a respectful gathering to support one another, victims, loved ones, first responders, and medical personnel.
