The Indiana Chamber of Commerce CEO, Reuters' Washington Bureau pictures editor and other leaders spoke last week at the Crossroads Chamber of Commerce Empowering Women’s Brunch.

The chamber, which represents businesses across Northwest Indiana, invited professionals to the Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster for an event focusing on empowerment and networking. It recapped the event in a press release.

Jessica Koscielniak, a Crown Point native who now works for the international news service Reuters, delivered the keynote address.

Koscielniak, who oversees coverage of the White House and Capitol Hill, discussed leadership and how women can shape the future.
