CLEARWATER COUNTY, Wash. – A motorcyclist from Sandpoint was brought to the hospital after losing control on a curve and crashing near mile post 32 on Highway 11, outside of Pierce.

Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office received a report about the accident on October 6, 2025 and responded alongside Pierce Ambulance and Timberline Rescue.

They arrived at the scene and identified the 21-year-old motorcyclist. They determined that he had “failed to negotiate a curve in the road” and crashed into a creek alongside highway 11, according to a statement by the sheriff’s office.

An ambulance transported the man to Clearwater Valley Hospital to check his injuries.
