NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Fog will be possible again later tonight and early Wednesday with high humidity and wet ground where we saw rain over the past couple of days. It will stay warm tonight. A few isolated showers will be possible on Wednesday but these will be hit or miss. Look for another warm and humid day with highs around 90.
Looking beyond midweek, a refreshing change is on the way. A weak front will slip through the area through the day Thursday, pushing south of the coast by Friday, bringing in slightly cooler and drier air. This will set the stage for a pleasant stretch of weather heading into the weekend, with daytime highs in the low to mid 80s and cooler mornings dipping into the 60s.
